Primary Responsibilities/Activities:
Offer leadership and management to a diverse residential care team which strives
towards excellence in residential childcare provision, in keeping with the aims and
objectives of the Homes statement of purpose.

Promote and facilitate the healthy development of the children and young people placed
in residential care.

Protect children and young people from threats to their health, welfare and normal

Ensure that children and young people facing crisis and stress are offered appropriate

Ensure transitions for children and young people are well planned, especially admission
and discharge through close liaison with the Head of Care /Senior Management team.

Use the residential community as a means of support and social learning for the children
