S.N.G Healthcare is working with a client to recruit an experienced and results-driven Care Home Manager for a well-established dementia care service in Southampton.
This role presents an excellent leadership opportunity for a motivated and confident professional with a proven track record in care home management, regulatory compliance, and operational leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high-quality care standards, financial sustainability, and team development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations, achieving and maintaining high inspection ratings.
- Provide effective leadership and direction to care teams, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and professional growth.
- Oversee financial and operational performance, including budget management, occupancy levels, and cost control.
- Champion person-centred care, ensuring dignity, independence, and overall well-being for all residents.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with families, commissioners, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance care quality and service delivery.
To be considered for this position, all applicants should have the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience as a Registered Home Manager in a care home setting, with a strong background in dementia care.
- Comprehensive knowledge of CQC regulations, governance, and safeguarding policies.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
- Experience in budget management, occupancy growth, and staff leadership to ensure financial sustainability.
- The ability to build and develop a high-performing team, promoting staff engagement and retention.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, service development, and driving positive outcomes.
