The Role:
We are seeking committed and experienced Children’s Residential Support Workers to join our team in Manchester. You will play a vital role in supporting children and young people in a residential setting, helping them to thrive and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day care, guidance, and support for children with EBD.
- Promote a safe and nurturing environment for all residents.
- Assist in planning and participating in activities and routines.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to care plans and risk assessments.
- Act as a positive role model and work collaboratively with other professionals.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in children’s residential care or similar roles.
- Understanding of emotional and behavioural difficulties and trauma-informed care.
- Ability to build trusting relationships with children and young people.
- A full UK driving license is essential.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
- A valid DBS check (or willingness to undertake one).
