Job Title: Senior Support Worker – Adults’ Residential Care
Location: Fareham
Salary: £32,100 per annum
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent (48 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts)

Requirements

• Must hold a Level 3 NVQ
• Willing to work towards Level 5 NVQ in Leadership & Management
• Full UK Driving Licence essential

About the Role

As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll play a key leadership role within our 24-hour care facility. You’ll manage support staff on shift, ensure smooth day-to-day operations, and provide hands-on support to residents in line with care plans.

Your duties will include:

• Leading and supervising support worker teams during shifts
• Ensuring high standards of care delivery and staff performance
• Encouraging residents’ independence through daily living support
• Planning, supervising, and joining community activities
• Contributing to care planning and positive behaviour support strategies
