We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join a warm, person-centred 21-bed residential and dementia care home nestled in the tranquil village of Felpham (Bognor Regis). This full-time, permanent position involves supervising staff, leading care delivery, and ensuring residents receive the highest standards of support in line with safeguarding and regulatory expectations.

Job Title – Senior Care Assistant

Location – Bognor Regis

Contact Type – Full Time (40 hrs per week)

Salary – £14.75 ph

Responsibilities

·        Lead and manage daily shifts alongside another care team member

·        Deliver high-quality personal care, supporting continence, nutrition, and emotional wellbeing

·        Maintain accurate care records using an advanced electronic system

·        Facilitate stimulating activities that enrich residents’ lives

·        Ensure hygiene and cleanliness standards are upheld at all times

·        Promote a culture of safety, dignity, and respect in line with safeguarding policies

Requirements

·        Minimum 2 years of experience in a care role

·        At least 1 year of supervisory experience

·        NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (preferred)

·        Compassionate, patient, and resilient nature

·        Confident in adhering to care regulations and reporting protocols (e.g., H&S, Safeguarding, Whistleblowing)

·        Ability to manage occasional challenging situations calmly and professionally
