We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join a warm, person-centred 21-bed residential and dementia care home nestled in the tranquil village of Felpham (Bognor Regis). Surrounded by coastal calm and vibrant gardens, this homely setting offers the perfect environment to lead shifts and deliver exceptional care in a friendly, informal atmosphere.
This full-time, permanent position involves supervising staff, leading care delivery, and ensuring residents receive the highest standards of support in line with safeguarding and regulatory expectations.

Job Title – Senior Care Assistant
Location – Bognor Regis
Contact Type – Full Time (40 hrs per week)
Salary – £14.75 ph
Responsibilities
· Lead and manage daily shifts alongside another care team member
· Deliver high-quality personal care, supporting continence, nutrition, and emotional wellbeing
· Maintain accurate care records using an advanced electronic system
· Facilitate stimulating activities that enrich residents’ lives
· Ensure hygiene and cleanliness standards are upheld at all times
· Promote a culture of safety, dignity, and respect in line with safeguarding policies
Requirements
· Minimum 2 years of experience in a care role
· At least 1 year of supervisory experience
· NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (preferred)
· Compassionate, patient, and resilient nature
· Confident in adhering to care regulations and reporting protocols (e.g., H&S, Safeguarding, Whistleblowing)
· Ability to manage occasional challenging situations calmly and professionally
