We are recruiting a Support Worker to join a stable, well-established team supporting a young man with significant mobility challenges. This is a 2:1 care package based within the client’s home, working alongside an experienced staff member already familiar with his needs and routines.
This role is physically demanding and requires resilience, attention to detail, and the ability to always follow safe mobility practices.
Key Details:
• Shifts: Flexible – shifts to be discussed during the interview
• 2:1 Staffing model – you will always work alongside a colleague
• No medication administration is required (covered by an experienced staff member)
• Primary focus will be physical mobility support, including wheelchair handling and mobility aids (e.g., rabbit stands)
• Staff must be physically fit and capable of safe manual handling practices
• Commitment to consistency and maintaining a calm, structured environment is critical
