Job Title: Team Leader

Location: Preston

Salary: £37,402 (Including sleep ins)

Contract Type – Full time (40 hrs per week)

Shift Pattern – 2 on 3 off on a 5 week rolling rota.

Required

NVQ Level 3 in Residential Child Care
2 Years Experience in Residential Child Care
UK Driving Licence

The team consists of experienced residential childcare professionals holding Level 3/4 qualifications, ensuring top-quality care for your child. Additionally, the managers and deputy managers are certified with Level 5 NVQ in leadership and management, providing a well-organised and effective environment tailored to each child’s unique needs.

Job Description

As a Team Leader, your main responsibility is to lead, guide, and support a team of residential support workers who care for children and young people in a residential setting. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support services, promoting the well-being, development, and safety of the children in your care.

Ensuring the safety and well-being of each young person by addressing their care, education, social, emotional, cultural, therapeutic, and health needs.
Maintaining appropriate supervision and control of children and young people at all times.
Collaborating with parents, families, carers, and other professionals to advocate for, protect, and enhance the welfare of children and young people.
