Location: Wavertree – Liverpool
Salary: From 29,910.40 – 31,096.00 ( Plus Sleeps )
Contract Type: Permanent 40 hours a week (Shifts – 2 on 4 off )

About the role
- Work collaboratively with agencies to support positive outcomes for children.
- Contribute to care plans, risk assessments, and record-keeping.
- Provide a safe, nurturing environment that meets emotional and physical needs.
- Uphold safeguarding standards and promote independence.
- Support children’s development, education, and daily activities.
- Undertake key worker duties and guide support staff.
- Assist with household tasks, meal preparation, and transport.
- Manage risk and provide trauma-informed care.
- Participate in rota-based sleep-in duties and flexible working.
- Support management in the home’s daily operations.

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our team. You will work in partnership with other agencies to deliver high-quality care and support for children in a residential setting. Your role will involve contributing to individual care plans, risk assessments, and maintaining accurate records, ensuring children are safeguarded and their emotional and physical needs are met. You will create a nurturing and structured environment that promotes safety, well-being, and educational development while supporting children to build life skills and independence.
As a key worker, you will help young people achieve positive outcomes, ensuring their views and wishes are considered. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean and safe home, preparing nutritious meals, managing risks, and supporting children through trauma and challenging behaviors. The role requires flexibility, including sleep-in duties on a rota basis, working evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
