Position Overview

• Role: Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home

• Specialism: Supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)

• Location: Oswestry

• Salary: £52,000 per year + up to £9,000 performance bonus (OTE £61,000)

• Future Earnings: £57,000–£66,000 after 5 years’ service

This role focuses on leadership, regulatory compliance, and providing trauma-informed care in a 3-bed residential setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain Ofsted registration and ensure compliance

• Lead, motivate, and retain a high-quality staff team

• Deliver safe, trauma-informed care with positive outcomes for children

• Ensure robust safeguarding practices

• Maintain high standards of care, documentation, and reporting

• Participate in the Registered Manager on-call rota

Working hours: Monday–Friday, 9 am–5 pm (with on-call responsibilities)

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Children’s Residential)

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager (ideally Ofsted-registered)

• Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and inspection frameworks

• Proven track record of staff retention and service stability

• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle with business insurance

• Ability to provide previous Ofsted inspection history
