Dual Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Services
Location: Mansfield, NG19
Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 per annum (performance bonuses negotiable)
Start Date: Mid-November 2025
Contract: Full-time, permanent
The Opportunity
SNG Healthcare are proud to be supporting a growing children’s provider with the recruitment of a Dual Registered Manager to oversee two small but pivotal services in Mansfield:

A solo placement home for a child with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

An overnight short breaks service, offering much-needed respite care.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proven leader to take on a dual-registration role where you will have a direct impact on shaping the culture, outcomes, and long-term success of both services.
Key Responsibilities

Hold Ofsted registration for both services, ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.

Lead, mentor, and develop staff teams to deliver safe, consistent, and therapeutic care.

Drive service quality, aiming for Good and Outstanding outcomes at inspection.

Manage operational and financial performance to ensure efficiency and sustainability.

Build strong working relationships with young people, families, local authorities, and wider stakeholders.

Ensure safeguarding remains central to all practice.
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings both passion and proven expertise:
-
At least 2 years’ experience as a Registered Manager in children’s residential care.

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).

A track record of achieving positive Ofsted outcomes.

Strong leadership skills with the resilience to manage two distinct services.

Knowledge and experience of solo placements and/or short breaks would be an advantage.
