About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Service Manager to lead our care service, ensuring compliance with all relevant health and social care regulations while promoting high-quality, person-centered care. You will oversee service delivery, manage staff, and uphold our values to create a safe, supportive, and dignified environment for service users. This role requires strong leadership, a commitment to continuous improvement, and the ability to foster a positive and compliant care culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, the Care Act 2014, and health & safety legislation.
- Lead and support care staff, promoting best practices in person-centered care.
- Oversee care planning, safeguarding, and service user well-being.
- Maintain high standards in medication management and infection control.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, supervision, and performance.
- Monitor budgets, care audits, and service quality, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Build strong relationships with service users, families, professionals, and external agencies.
- Ensure effective rota planning and maintain a safe, well-led service.
