About the Role:
We are seeking passionate, resilient, and committed Children’s Residential Support Workers to join our dedicated team in Bognor. You will be responsible for the day-to-day care and support of children and young people aged 7–17 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a small 3-bed children’s home.
Our care programme is designed to support the repatriation of young people to their home communities, with clear pathways for transition back to birth families, fostering, or independent living. We are committed to building strong, lasting relationships and providing consistent, family-style care.
Key Responsibilities:

Promote identity, independence, and self-esteem in children and young people.

Support access to education, interests, and social opportunities.

Encourage and model healthy behaviours and emotional well-being.

Contribute to the development, implementation, and review of care plans and risk assessments.

Assist young people in developing life skills for independence.

Ensure safeguarding policies are followed and children’s safety is prioritised.
Partnership Working:

Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and external professionals.

Share significant information to support best outcomes, while maintaining confidentiality.

Help young people engage with wider community and support services.
Development and Training:

Participate in supervision, team meetings, and reflective practice.

Take part in training and apply new learning to your role.

Support a culture of continuous improvement and development within the team.
Promoting Positive Behaviour:
