We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established adult care provider in Kent, seeking an experienced Deputy Manager who is ready to take their next step into a Registered Manager role.

This permanent, full-time position is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a stable, well-supported service. You’ll have the autonomy to confidently lead, backed by a senior leadership team that values development and quality.

If you’ve been waiting for a chance to run your own CQC-registered service without being thrown into chaos, this could be it. This service has a strong track record, and the provider is known for developing its managers and promoting from within.

 

As the Registered Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

       Leading and supporting a small, consistent team delivering person-centred care
       Ensuring full compliance with CQC standards and maintaining inspection readiness
       Promoting a safe, structured, low-pressure environment for adults with additional needs
       Building strong relationships with families, professionals, and internal teams
       Taking complete ownership of the service’s quality, governance, and team development.

 

To be considered, you’ll need:

       Right to work in the UK
       Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Deputy Manager in a CQC-regulated service
       Experience supporting adults with mental health, learning disabilities or PBS needs
       Strong understanding of audits, governance, and regulatory compliance
       Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or working towards it)
       Based locally in Kent (within a realistic daily commute)
