Our client, an established domiciliary care provider, is seeking an experienced Domiciliary Care Service Manager to lead and oversee its care operations. This is an opportunity to take charge of a high-quality domiciliary care service, supporting adults with physical, learning, and mental health disabilities while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
This role is available on a temporary, temp-to-perm, or permanent basis, depending on the candidate’s suitability and availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service Leadership & Management – Oversee the day-to-day operations of the domiciliary care service, ensuring the highest standards of care delivery.
- Regulatory Compliance – Ensure the service fully complies with CQC regulations, conducting audits and implementing necessary improvements.
- Staff Leadership & Development – Recruit, manage, and develop a team of care professionals, fostering a culture of engagement and high performance.
- Client & Stakeholder Liaison – Build and maintain strong relationships with service users, families, local authorities, and external partners.
- Operational Oversight – Manage rotas, service schedules, and reporting to ensure a seamless and high-quality service.
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
- A background as a Domiciliary Care Manager or a Deputy Manager looking to progress into a leadership role.
- Proven experience in domiciliary care management – Residential care experience alone will not be considered.
- Strong knowledge of CQC compliance, auditing, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and develop teams, ensuring the highest standards of care delivery.
- A Level 4 qualification in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), with a commitment to working towards Level 5 if not already achieved.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with a strategic approach to service management.
