Job Description
Build strong relationships with residents and families to ensure a caring environment, meet emotional and physical needs, maintain “Safe Care” standards, and maximize development opportunities.
Seek and act on young people’s views where appropriate. Plan and support local initiatives with the Home Manager’s approval. Foster positive relationships with colleagues, children, and external agencies.
Have a solid understanding of relevant regulations, safeguarding procedures, and child protection laws. Ensure quality records and reports are maintained, attend statutory reviews and meetings, and perform on-call duties as per rota.
Deputise for the Manager in areas including staff supervision, development, rota planning, policy, and procedure development, Quality of Care reviews, care plans, training, team building, safe care, discipline, health and safety, and educational oversight.
