Job Opportunity: Support Worker – Bournemouth

Position: Night Support Worker (Full-Time/Part-Time)

Location: Bournemouth

Our client addresses drug and alcohol issues and provides mental health support, offering a safe and supportive environment for individuals in recovery. They are looking for Night support workers to join their existing team.

You will be able to help and care for our client’s residents during night shifts, dispense medication with care and accuracy, and conduct health and safety checks to maintain a secure environment.

To be considered for the Night Support Worker post, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Care Certificate, NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent.
  • Experience with drug and alcohol or mental health issues.
  • Ability to maintain clear boundaries and follow procedures.
  • Self-aware with a reflective approach to work.
  • High level of trust, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Passionate about making a difference.
  • Team player who can also work independently.
  • Flexible, proactive, and initiative-driven.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Previous administrative experience would be advantageous
  • Proficiency in Maths, IT, and English.
  • Strong people skills and computer literacy.
  • A commitment to undergoing essential training provided by our client.
  • A full driving license and access to a vehicle.
