We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our children’s residential team in Kirkby. You will support young adults aged 16–18 across 6 flats, providing safe, nurturing, and structured care that promotes well-being, independence, and educational development.

Job Title: Support Worker – Children’s Residential

Location: Kirkby

Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 per year (plus £60 per sleep-in)

Contract Type: Permanent, 36 hours per week

Setting: 6 flats for young adults aged 16–18

Requirements:

• Must have the right to live and work in the UK

• Must be a driver with a full UK license

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the effective delivery of residential care in line with company policies and the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015

• Contributing to individual care plans, risk assessments, and maintaining accurate records

• Preparing meals, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and managing challenging behaviors

• Acting as a key worker to help young adults achieve positive outcomes and build life skills

• Undertaking sleep-in duties and working flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
