Support Worker | Children’s Supported Living
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our children’s residential team in Kirkby. You will support young adults aged 16–18 across 6 flats, providing safe, nurturing, and structured care that promotes well-being, independence, and educational development.
Job Title: Support Worker – Children’s Residential
Location: Kirkby
Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 per year (plus £60 per sleep-in)
Contract Type: Permanent, 36 hours per week
Setting: 6 flats for young adults aged 16–18
Requirements:

Must have the right to live and work in the UK

Must be a driver with a full UK license
Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the effective delivery of residential care in line with company policies and the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015

Contributing to individual care plans, risk assessments, and maintaining accurate records

Preparing meals, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and managing challenging behaviors
-
Acting as a key worker to help young adults achieve positive outcomes and build life skills

Undertaking sleep-in duties and working flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays

Job Description:
