Senior Support Worker – Adult Residential Care

Location: North Baddesley
Salary: £30,000 – £32,000 per annum
Shifts: Days, 12-hour shifts, 48 hours per week

Requirements:

• Must hold a Level 3 NVQ

• Willing to work towards Level 5 NVQ in Leadership & Management

• Full UK driving licence essential

The Role:

As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a key leadership role within our Adults’ Residential Service. You’ll be responsible for managing a team of support workers, leading shifts, and ensuring a safe, supportive, and person-centred environment for our residents.

This is a 24-hour care facility supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, and/or challenging behaviours. Your role will involve:

• Overseeing daily operations and staff performance on shift

• Supporting residents with day-to-day living skills and promoting independence

• Planning and accompanying individuals on community activities to encourage social inclusion

• Contributing to care planning and ensuring high standards of care delivery
