We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Adults Residential Night Support Worker to join our night team in Fareham. You’ll support adults in a residential care setting, encouraging independence, dignity, and an active lifestyle while providing consistent, person-centred support throughout the night. This role is ideal for someone with adults residential experience who can confidently manage varying needs and challenging behaviours in a calm, professional manner.

Job Title: Adults Residential Female Night Support Worker
Location: Fareham
Salary: £30,000 per year
Contract Type: Full time – Nights

Requirements:

• Must have the right to live and work in the UK
• Must have experience working in adults residential care
• Must have a full UK driving licence

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting service users with personal care, cooking, and cleaning
• Acting as a key worker and completing required reports and paperwork
• Encouraging engagement in community activities and attending appointments
• Using service users’ vehicles for outings and appointments
• Assisting with de-escalation and managing challenging behaviours (training provided)

Skills:

• 6–12 months of UK experience in a care environment, ideally in a learning disability setting
• Understanding of challenging behaviours
• Computer literacy
• Reliable, empathetic, and trustworthy

• Confident and able to positively influence the lives of service users
• Willingness to actively engage in activities in and out of the home
