An exciting opportunity for an experienced Children’s Residential Deputy Manager to join a dedicated team in Derby, supporting young people with learning disabilities (LD) in a residential care setting. Salary: £40,400 + £60 per sleep

Requirements
- Must have the right to live and work in the UK
- Must have experience working in Children’s residential
- Must hold a UK driving license
About the Role
- Assist in developing the skills and potential of residential support workers.
- Take charge of the effective and efficient management of shifts.
- Ensure compliance with home and company policies and procedures.
- Monitor and maintain administrative tasks to meet children’s legislation standards and home practices.
- Perform ongoing assessments of the daily needs of children and young people.
- Supervise, oversee, and enhance staff skills in their work routines.
- Foster a safe, structured, and nurturing environment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within the home and external agencies.
- Build relationships and engage with young people with Learning Disabilities.
- Maintain the health, safety, and well-being of children and young people at all times.
- Ensure staff deliver necessary support to meet the social, educational, leisure, emotional, physical, and cultural needs of children and young people.
- Facilitate the delivery of key worker responsibilities.
- Implement diverse strategies for behaviour management.
- Act as a deputy in the absence of the home manager when required.
- Attend reviews and meetings as necessary.
