This family-run organisation delivers high-quality, therapeutic care to children aged 5–17 with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). Job Title: Senior Residential Support Worker

Location: Nottinghamshire (NG13 area)

Salary: £28,080 to £29,640 + sleep-ins

Shift Pattern:

  • Shifts run from 8:00am to 11:00pm followed by a sleep-ins
  • Sleep-in is followed by a second 8:00am to 11:00pm shift
  • Week 1: 2 shifts
  • Week 2: 3 shifts

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver nurturing, consistent care using therapeutic approaches such as PACE and DDP
  • Work as part of a close-knit team to promote stability and resilience in young people
  • Facilitate activities and experiences that support individual growth and recovery
  • Uphold safeguarding standards and contribute to a safe, supportive environment
  • Maintain clear, professional records and reports

 

Requirements: Senior Support Workers:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in residential childcare
  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People (or willingness to complete)
  • Experience supporting young people with complex needs and challenging behaviour
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
