The Role:

As an agency Support Worker, you will be supporting individuals with learning disabilities, epilepsy, dysphasia, and complex care needs.

Your duties will include:

• Delivering person-centered care while promoting independence and dignity
• Assisting with personal care, manual handling, and hoisting where required
• Providing epilepsy management, including buccal medication administration
• Supporting individuals with daily activities and social engagement
• Working within a team to implement tailored care plans
• Adhering to safeguarding protocols and maintaining accurate records

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a support worker or healthcare role is essential
• Experience with learning disabilities, epilepsy care, and hoisting is highly desirable
• A reliable and adaptable approach, with strong communication skills
• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and night shifts
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
• Relevant health and social care qualifications (desirable but not essential)
