Punjabi-Speaking Female Support Worker – Southampton

We are looking for a Punjabi-speaking female support worker to provide high-quality, person-centered care to a client in Southampton who requires support in their preferred language.

This role is ideal for someone compassionate, reliable, and committed to helping others maintain their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and daily living assistance
• Support with catheter care (full training provided)
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Assist with light household tasks and meal preparation
• Encourage independence and engagement in daily activities

Requirements:

• Fluent in Punjabi and English (essential for effective communication)
• A caring, patient, and professional approach
• Right to work in the UK
• Willing to undergo a DBS check (or already have one)
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential – full training provided
• Driving is preferred but not required
