We’re recruiting an Interim Registered Manager for a growing, privately backed home care provider based in Dorset. Covering Poole, Bournemouth, and surrounding areas, this is a 12-week full-time assignment for an experienced leader with strong CQC compliance knowledge and the ability to steady and scale a rapidly growing service.
The provider offers high-quality, person-led care in people’s homes, with a strong emphasis on dignity, independence and lifestyle. With the permanent Registered Manager not yet in post, they need someone who can step in, provide confident leadership, and keep the service safe, structured, and inspection-ready.
As Interim Registered Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
• Leading day-to-day operations of the home care service
• Creating structure, clarity, and performance across the care team
• Overseeing safe, high-quality, person-centred care delivery
• Managing compliance and preparing for CQC inspection
• Carrying out client assessments and onboarding
• Acting as a professional point of contact for families and stakeholders
• Implementing systems and processes to support sustainable growth
What we’re looking for:
• Proven experience as a Registered Manager in home care
• Strong knowledge of CQC frameworks and inspection readiness
• Calm, confident leadership with a hands-on approach
• Organised and communicative, with natural authority
• Full driving license and access to a vehicle
This is a 12-week interim role with real autonomy, high visibility, and the chance to make a meaningful impact from day one.
