Salary: £45,300 per annum,
increasing to £52,700 upon completion of probationary period and relevant Level 5 qualification
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time

About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Children’s Home Registered Manager to join our team in Bolton. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall management of a children’s home, ensuring the safety, care, and development of children with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, and complex health needs. As the Registered Manager, you will lead a team of skilled staff to provide a nurturing, safe, and supportive environment, while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and organisational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day operation of the children’s home, ensuring compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and the Ofsted Framework for Inspection.

Lead a team of Children’s Support Workers, fostering a positive and effective workplace.

Promote the welfare and safety of children, ensuring a nurturing environment free from harm.

Develop, monitor, and review care plans, risk assessments, and individualised support strategies for the young residents.

Ensure safeguarding policies are adhered to and that children’s safety is always the top priority.

Facilitate engagement with external professionals and services to support the children’s well-being and development.
Partnership Working:

Work closely with parents, carers, and other professionals to support the well-being of the children.

Maintain clear and confidential communication to ensure the best outcomes for each child.

Support children in engaging with their wider community and external support services.
Development and Training:

Participate in regular supervision, team meetings, and reflective practice.

Take part in training programmes and apply new knowledge to your role.

Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the team.
Promoting Positive Behaviour:

Foster a safe, secure, and supportive environment where positive behaviour is encouraged.
