We’re recruiting for an experienced Home Manager to lead a well-established elderly residential care home in Corsham. This full-time, permanent role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a 3-unit, community-focused home that provides residential, respite, and daycare for older people, including those living with dementia.

As part of a long-standing charity-led provider, the home is renowned locally for its warm culture and family-oriented model of care. It now requires a confident, people-first leader to strengthen consistency, raise expectations, and embed a clear sense of accountability across all areas, from care delivery and audits to occupancy and team culture.

This is a Monday–Friday post, supported by a proactive senior team and wider infrastructure. The provider reinvests every penny back into its services, with a strong emphasis on values, development, and long-term care quality.

Home Manager | Elderly Residential | Corsham, Wiltshire | £45K–£52K + Benefits

As Home Manager, you will:
• Hold full operational accountability for a multi-unit residential elderly care home
• Oversee care quality, safeguarding, and CQC compliance across all areas
• Lead a team of care staff, seniors, and shift leads across the home’s three households
• Manage occupancy, budgets, audits, and local stakeholder relationships
• Work with the internal regional team on service improvement and staffing plans
• Build strong links with families, local authorities, and community professionals
• Embed a culture of high performance, dignity, and visible leadership
• Lead on recruitment, induction, and performance management
• Ensure all regulatory and risk requirements are met consistently

What we’re looking for:
• At least 2–3 years’ experience in a Registered Manager or Deputy/Peripatetic role
• Proven background in residential care for older adults (non-nursing)
• Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
• Strong understanding of CQC expectations, audits, and service governance
• Confidently manages team development, occupancy, and budget control
• Calm, people-first leadership style with clear communication
• Able to build structure and improve consistency in a supportive way
• Based within commutable distance of Corsham, or willing to relocate
